I kept missing sales on things I was already planning to buy.
What I built
An Express API stores watch targets in MongoDB. A scheduled worker scrapes prices, backs off politely and records history for charts.
Results
Tracks 50+ products daily for me and a few friends.
What I learned
Scrapers break constantly, so selectors live in config and failures alert me instead of failing silently.
